Information
 
In January 2022
the Council entered into a contract with a supplier named Conduent
Public Sector UK Limited for the supply, installation and
maintenance of 100 (one hundred) ANPR cameras at various locations
on the borough highway network. The ANPR cameras intended use was
for the Council for civil enforcement and the issue Penalty Charge
Notices (PCNs).
 
In June 2022
the Council decided to exit the existing contract and appoint a new
supplier under a compliant framework agreement.

This report is seeking to award a contract to
a new camera supplier for a period of up to 5 years at a value of
£4,000k for the supply, installation and maintenance of ANPR
cameras and supporting software.

RESOLVED:
To
Approve the award of a New Contract to the supplier
named in Part B of this report for a period of two years with
options to extend, at the Council’s discretion, for up to a
further three years (1+1+1) for the maximum value set out in Part B
for the supply, installation, and maintenance of ANPR cameras and
supporting software.
