Purpose

This report recommends
approving the award of the Council’s subscription agreement
for Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
 
The Council currently uses
Microsoft Azure for a range of cloud services, including computing,
analytics, authentication, storage and infrastructure networking.
The majority of the council systems sit
on and rely on Microsoft Azure
 
The Council has an
agreement for the provision of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. This
is due to expire on 30 June 2023. It is therefore necessary to
award a new agreement through an accredited reseller

Subscription.

1.1.    To approve
the award of a contract for the provision of Microsoft Azure Cloud Service Subscription for a
period of 2 years commencing on 1 July 2023 at the contract value
stated in the Part B report.

 
1.2.     Note the contractor name and contract value will
be released following contract award.
