RESOLVED: To

 

1.1.         
Approve that the Spend Control
Panel will no longer have to abide by the criteria set out in the
report to Full Council on 12 December 2022 as part of the
Council’s actions to be taken in consequence of the S114(3)
report under S115(2) of the Local Government Finance Act
1988.
 

1.2.         
Approve the use by the Spend
Control Panel of the amended criteria as set out in Appendix A
acting within the budget framework funding envelope.
 

1.3.         
Approve delegation to the S151
Officer to further amend the Spend Control Panel criteria and
arrangements as necessary to ensure the effective and efficient day
to day administration of the Council.
 

1.4.         
Note ongoing dialogue with the
Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) in
relation to the Council’s ongoing financial
sustainability.
