Purpose

1.1           
The purpose of this report is to outline
the approach to purchasing library book stock, specifically the
procurement process undertaken to appoint the supplier.

 

1.2           
West Sussex County Council (WSCC) managed
the procurement process, on behalf of the Central Buying Consortium
(CBC), for a Framework Agreement for the supply of library book
stock. Croydon Council is drawing on this Framework Agreement
in order to award a contract to the
supplier.

2.1          
agree the award of a contract to be
placed under a single provider Framework Agreement established by
West Sussex County Council to Askews
& Holt Library Services Ltd (02745298)  for the provision of
library stock with an estimated total value of £700,000 for
an initial term of 24 months until 31 March 2026, with the option
to extend up to two further years until 31 March 2028.
