Purpose

This
report seeks approval to award the new contract for a
Children’s Advocacy Service that ensures the Council meets it
statutory duties to provide independent advocacy services in
accordance with the Children’s Act 1989, following an open
procurement process, for a period of 5 years.
 

Content

·         
to approve the award of the contract for the
provision of Children’s Advocacy to the provider and for the
contract value detailed in part B of this report, for a maximum of
5 years from 1st October 2024 – 30th
September 2029.
 

·         
to note that the name of the successful provider
will be released following the award decision.
