Purpose

This report will seek approval
for the Oracle Improvement Programme HR Business case.
 
This supplements the Oracle
Improvement Programme Finance and Procurement Business case. That
was approved by the Mayor in Cabinet in March 2024. The two-year
programme of work will ensure the council makes the most of its
investment in its Oracle platform and drive significant
improvements to key business processes.
 
The improvement programme which
this investment supports is required to enable the transformation
ambitions of the Council – including the technology and
artificial intelligence solutions – to support the priorities
in the Mayor’s Business Plan 2022-2026 as detailed
below.
