The Planning and Licensing Committee is responsible for making decisions on a range of planning and licensing matters for Folkestone and Hythe.

This includes decisions related to Town and Country Planning, trees and hedgerows, high hedges, and powers concerning public rights of way. The committee also exercises the Council's functions for licensing and registration, including its statutory licensing committee duties.
