About

The Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for improving the health and wellbeing of Harrow residents and reducing inequalities. It assesses local needs, promotes integration between health, social care, and public health services, and supports joint commissioning. The Board holds partner agencies accountable for service improvements and can be delegated decision-making powers by the Council, with recommendations subject to the Leader's agreement if not covered by delegated authority. It covers both adult and children's issues and produces a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment.
