Purpose
1. Approval of a strategic
commissioning approach to the delivery and block contracting
arrangements of mental health, learning disabilities and autism
(MHLDA) supported accommodation.
2. Approve access to the WLA
2024 Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for MHLDA supported
accommodation placements.
3. Delegate authority to the
Strategic Director of Adult Social Care & Public Health to
procure supported accommodation services through the WLA DPS and
via block contract arrangements where required, following
consultation with the Director of Finance (S151 Officer) and
relevant Portfolio Holders.
4. Delegate authority to the
Strategic Director for Adults and Public Health following
consultation with the Director of Finance (S151 Officer) and
relevant Portfolio Holders to award contracts further to any
supported accommodation procurement.
