Decision

RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL that:

1. the ‘publication document’ for Regulation 19 statutory public consultation be approved, and officers be authorised to proceed to Regulation 22 (submitting the Local Plan to the Secretary of State and to notify the public of the submission), subject to no major modifications arising from the Regulation 19 statutory public consultation:

a.   Publication draft Local Plan (Annex 1);

b.   Policies map (Annex 2);

c.   Integrated Impact Assessment (IIA) Technical Note (Annex 3); and

d.   Statement of Consultation (Regulation 18) (Annex 4); and

1. authority be delegated to the Director for Planning and Regeneration, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, to make any final amendments, additions and/or deletions to the documents set out in Annex 1 and 2 of the report as they consider reasonably necessary prior to public consultation.
