Decision
RESOLVED that:
1) Authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Assets, Commissioning & Waste to dispose of the two properties identified in Annex 1 on such terms and through such routes that the Executive Director, following consultation with the Portfolio Holder, deems appropriate and in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements including the need to obtain best consideration and in accordance with this report;
2) Authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Assets, Commissioning & Waste to finalise terms and enter into agreement to complete a land swap with the adjoining owner at Ashdown Road Car Park based on the provisional terms or other such terms Exempt Annex 2 in the best interests of the Council;
3) Authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Assets, Commissioning & Waste to vary the current contract to enable the Council to proceed with and complete the disposal of Canbury Place Car Park, and adjacent road, at a price not less than the revised price specified in Exempt Annex 3 and otherwise in accordance with the provisional terms set out in the same or such other terms (save as to price as above) which are in the best interests of the Council.
