Purpose

It was necessary to protect access and prevent obstruction in the interests of road safety as part of the Lutterworth Public Realm scheme.
The decision also takes into account representations received during the statutory consultation and subsequent revisions made to ensure the proposals are suitable for the locations.

Decision

To implement No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions, Disabled Parking, Limited Waiting Restrictions and Loading Only Restrictions at various locations in Lutterworth

Alternative options considered

Following the consideration of objections and representations received, the proposals were revised to reduce their extent, particularly at Station Road and at Woodbine Crescent, Baker Street and Church Gate to address access and parking requirements.
These changes ensure that the restrictions focus on junction protection and maintaining access, whilst seeking to minimise the impact on residential parking.
