Purpose

This report sets out the lessons learned from delivery of the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) programme and presents an understanding of how these lessons are being applied to the development and delivery of the Transport for City Regions (TCR) programme. It includes a recommendation for implementation covering allocations for resources to be provided from TCR revenue funding from 1 April 2027.

Decision

RESOLVED – That in respect of Transport for City Region (TCR) Resource Funding the Executive Director for Investment and Delivery approved the overall TCR Resource Funding allocation of £42.59 million for Local Authority resources, in line with the breakdown of allocations, set out in Table 1 of the report, to be provided from TCR revenue funding from 1 April 2027.
