Purpose

To seek agreement to accept funding secured through the Apprenticeship Brokerage Pilot initiative.

Decision

RESOLVED – That in relation to the Mayoral Strategic Authority Apprenticeship Brokerage:

(a)         The announcement that the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has been selected for Wave 1 of the MSA Apprenticeship Brokerage programme be welcomed;

(b)         The acceptance of £5,763,110 to support the delivery of the Liverpool City Region Brokerage Pilot over the period of 31 March 2029 be approved; and

(c)          Delegated authority be granted to the Executive Director – Investment and Delivery, in consultation with the Executive Director – Resources and the Monitoring Officer, to enter into such agreements with its constituent Local Authorities and other delivery partners as may be required to deliver the Pilot.
