About

The Place Scrutiny Panel reviews matters concerning regeneration and the environment within Middlesbrough. It makes recommendations to the Overview and Scrutiny Board on decisions, actions, policies, strategies, service provision, and performance information related to these areas. The panel also examines issues affecting the local area and its inhabitants, including services provided by external organisations. Its role is to scrutinise and provide recommendations, not to make executive decisions.
