EEPAB exists to co-ordinate local plans and initiatives to improve
the following for Newham residents and businesses:

Skill levels
·
Quality and quantity of job opportunities
·
Wage levels
·
Business growth opportunities
The
EEPAB exists to bring members together to work on the
following:
·
Support and steer the development of employment and
skills workstreams which benefit Newham residents
·
Contribute to the achievement of regional and
national targets to reduce worklessness and raise skill and wage
levels
·
Monitor quarterly Labour Market Information Reports
to identify trends and alert members to issues which impact upon
Newham residents
·
Share information and knowledge about the regional
economy, growth plans, skills needs and employers’ priorities
and develop pathways to enable residents to benefit from economic
growth
·
Act as a forum to share good practice related to
skills and employment strategies and delivery
·
Co-ordinate responses to regional and national
consultations or initiatives when required.
