The Officer Key Decision of Newham Council on 20 May 2026 approved the refurbishment works at Abbey Lane Children's Centre.

The Cabinet of Newham Council on 20 July 2023 approved a waiver of Contract Standing Order 8.1, the award of a contract to Newham Health Collaborative for public health services, and delegated authority to the Corporate Director for Adults and Health. This decision included a direct award of contract to Newham Health Collaborative for public health services via GPs for up to £4,886,250 over a 3+2 year term, commencing 1 October 2023.

The Interim Assistant Chief Executive – Change & Improvement & Corporate Director of Resources (Section 151 Officer) of Newham Council on 29 April 2026 approved the allocation of £1.111m to 134 People Powered Places projects for 2025-27. This included approving the withdrawal of the Plaistow Eco Hub project and continued support for the Walton Road Community Garden project for a three-month feasibility period.

The Corporate Director of Adults & Health of Newham Council on 19 August 2025 accepted £100,000 of funding from the Royal Docks Team for additional community projects in Beckton & Royal Docks and Custom House & Canning Town as part of the People Powered Places 2025-27 programme. This acceptance included entering into a Grant Agreement with the GLA.
