Place and Environment Scrutiny Committee

The Place and Environment Scrutiny Committee reviews and scrutinises council activities related to transport, regeneration, neighbourhoods, housing, highways, climate, community safety, leisure, tourism, social housing, environmental crime, and waste. It also fulfils the council's scrutiny functions for flood risk under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 and for crime and disorder under the Police and Justice Act 2006. The committee makes recommendations to the council based on its reviews.
