That Council accepts the
findings of the Local Government Association Peer Challenge and
notes the Action Plan.
 
Reasons for Decision:
·        
It is important that the Council corporately
considers the Corporate Peer Challenge report, considers the
significant progress made and the further opportunities that the
Council should address.
 
Alternative Options Considered:
·        
Not to undertake a Corporate Peer Challenge. This
was not considered a viable option as it is important for the
Council receive external challenge and scrutiny to meet its best
value obligations and provide the best service to
residents.
