RESOLVED
 
That the Executive noted the
content and recommendations of the Local Government and Social Care
Ombudsman’s annual review letter, and the outcomes of its
investigations completed in 2022-23 that relate to the
Council.
 
 
Reason for Recommendation: To
appraise the Executive of the annual review letter and relevant
information. Receipt of regular complaints data demonstrates good
governance.
 
Alternative Options
Considered: It would not be considered good practice to not provide
the annual Ombudsman report to the Executive and as such there are
no alternative options to be considered.
