That Council:

a)   
Notes the process undertaken for the nomination and selection
of a co[1]opted Town and
Parish representative to the Democratic and Standards Committee and
the candidate proposed for appointment

b)   
Appoints Councilllor Lora Lawman of Loddington
Parish Council (as set out in 4.8 - 4.9 of this report) to be
appointed as a co-opted Town and Parish representative to the
Democracy and Standards Committee in respect of standards, for a
term of office until May 2029, provided eligibility criteria
remains met.
Reason for
Decision
 The terms of
reference for the Democracy and Standards Committee require
co-opted Members, this recommendation to fill the outstanding
vacancy ensures that the membership of the Committee is in line
with the terms of reference. This recommendation is consistent with
the previous decision of Council at its annual meeting to progress
the appointment process for co-opted Town and Parish
representatives.
