That the Audit and
Governance Committee notes:

(a)  
The content and recommendations of the LGCSCO’s and
HoS annual review letters, including the outcomes of
their investigations completed in the year 2024/25 that relate to
North Northamptonshire Council and;

(b)  
The content and recommendations of the Annual
Landlord
Complaints and
Service Improvement report, including the updated annex for
insertion in the corporate complaint handling policy.
 
Reason for
Decision: To ensure the correct scrutiny and
oversight of corporate complaint handling performance. This
supports accountability and transparency which are integral to a
positive organisational culture of complaint handling.
 

Alternative Options Considered: No alternative options
considered. Scrutiny of annual performance outcomes by council
governance is an expectation of the respective LGSCO and
HoS complaint handling codes.
