RESOLVED that:
The Corporate Scrutiny
Committee:
 

i.           
Encourages the Executive to ensure
that future consultation on the Corporate Plan and related
strategies is as wide-ranging and inclusive as possible,
recognising both digital and non-digital (traditional) engagement
methods across communities.
 

ii.           
Recommends that Corporate
Performance Reports from April 2026 clearly demonstrate alignment
between the new Corporate Plan, Key Performance Indicators and
Value-for-Money indicators, in line with National Audit Office
guidance.
 

iii.           
Stresses that it is crucial for
the “golden thread” between the Corporate Plan and all
areas of council activity to be clearly articulated and
evidenced.
 

iv.           
Requests that officers liaise with
the Executive and the member who submitted written comments to
include explicit reference to looked-after children and corporate
parenting within the Corporate Plan.
