RESOLVED that:
The Corporate Scrutiny
Committee:
 

i.           
Requests that a six-month update
report be brought back to Corporate Scrutiny to provide an overview
of claimant numbers under the Local Council Tax Support Scheme
2026/27 and to assess any variation from expected
levels.
 

ii.           
Recommends that the Executive
review the affordability of the 25% contribution level for
working-age claimants considering Council Tax increases, to ensure
that the scheme remains financially sustainable and fair to
residents.
