RESOLVED

KEY DECISION

That the Executive:

a)
Approved the commencement of the
procurement process for  Enforcement Agent services.

b)
Delegated authority to the
Executive Director of Finance & Performance in consultation
with the Executive Member for Finance, Efficiency & Change to
take any further decisions and/or actions required to conclude the
procurement of the Enforcement Agent services.

Reason for Recommendations –
To ensure the Council has a compliant Enforcement Agent service
provision in place.

Alternative Options
Considered –
Not procuring an Enforcement Agent
service would mean that the Council will be unable to maximise its
collection of debts, which in turn will have a negative impact on
the income received by the Council to fund services.
