Purpose

To award contracts for the provision of Diesel
and HVO to ensure the uninterrupted execution of services reliant
on fuel, following the completion of tender, evaluation and
moderation.
 
Following approval on the
12th
August 2025 at the Executive
Meeting, delegated authority was given to the Assistant Director
for Assets and Environment in consultation with the Executive
Member for Assets, Waste and Environmental Services to procure and
sign necessary documents as part of the procurement
process.
 
The cost-effective supply of bulk fuel
requirements will ensure continuity of service provision across
multiple service areas, mitigating risks to the supply and
availability of fuel for key Council activities, providing fuel for
emergency situations and the servicing of Council buildings in
times of need.
