Decision

To enable the continuing party to complete the refurbishment works and update key customer areas at Lodge Park Sports Centre.

The Agreement will be executed as a deed via affixing the Councils common seal.

Reasons for the decision

 Due to material supply issues and extenuating contractor circumstances the original contract with Corben Home Improvements Limited was extended until June 2026. Within this time there was the departure of one of the directors which affected the company name.

Following the departure of a Director, the Outgoing Party (Corben) has transferred its business in delivery of refurbishment works and updating key areas to the Incoming Party (Shield Building Ltd). As a result, the Outgoing Party wishes to transfer its rights and obligations under the Contract to the Incoming Party as part of the business transfer.
