Decision

 To agree that North Northamptonshire Council; -

Appoint Semilong Services Limited to undertake refurbishment works as listed below at Phoenix House, NNC Children's Home.

•         Refurbishment of main bathroom, staff ensuite, and w/c

•         Upgrade fuse boxes, relocated 1st floor power sockets, change all 1st and 2nd floor light switches

•         Supply and fit new door alarm panels to all external doors for additional security

•         Removal of 2 water tanks from attic

•         Refurbishment of 2 external doors

•         Replace the rainwater goods on the conservatory

This decision is taken in accordance with the Officer Scheme of Delegation (Part 9.2 of the Council’s Constitution), which delegates authority to the Assistant Director to approve the award of contracts within their service area where the contract value is £100,000 or less and where budget provision exists. As the value of this contract is £44,974.33 and is within approved budget, the Assistant Director has the delegated authority to enter into and sign the contract.

This work has been procured in line with NNC’s procurement through RFQ via open tender on in tend & legal processes. The procurement report will be included.

The project is managed in line with NNC’s Capital projects process.
