Decision

To approve the direct award of £28,575 + VAT to Triple P UK Ltd for the purchase of fifteen practitioner training places on the Triple P Stepping Stones programme.

Reasons for the decision

Triple P Stepping Stones is a Level 4 evidence-based parenting intervention for families of children with disabilities or additional needs, recognised in NICE Guidance NG11 and aligned with the national Start for Life framework.

Training and accreditation are delivered exclusively by Triple P UK Ltd, the sole licensed provider in the UK.

This waiver enables the Council to secure 15 practitioner training places on the Triple P Stepping Stones programme, supporting delivery of evidence-based parenting support for families of children with disabilities or additional needs. The training forms part of the Family Hubs Parenting Support programme and will increase local capacity to deliver evidence-based interventions across North Northamptonshire.
