Decision

RESOLVED that: The Scrutiny Management Board:

a)      Considers the items contained in the first iteration of the Scrutiny Work Programme 2026/27 attached at Appendix A and comments as appropriate.

b)      Considers whether any items in the current Executive Forward Plan, attached as Appendix B, should be added to the Scrutiny Work Programme for pre-scrutiny.

c)      Notes that there are no additional items currently generated by Scrutiny which are not part of the Scrutiny Work Programme 2026/27.

d)      Approves the first iteration of the Scrutiny Work Programme 2026/27 attached at Appendix A.

e)      Refers the proposed Carbon Management Plan Task and Finish Panel back to the Place and Environment Scrutiny Committee for further consideration following the Committee’s consideration of the Carbon Management Plan update report in September 2026.
