Purpose

As a result of road
safety concerns raised regarding access for residents, and in
particular school children, to and from the bus stops located on
either side of the A417 Reading Road in the vicinity of the
junction with The Greenway, it is proposed to provide a Puffin
(signal controlled) crossing.
