Purpose

This report details the approval of the
following:
- Formally adopt the Conservation Area Appraisal and Management
Plan for Richmond Road East Twickenham (CA 66), following public
consultation from 6th September to 18th October 2024.
- Remove no.354 Richmond Road and nos.16, 18, 20, 22, 24 St
Margarets Road from the local list of Buildings of Townscape Merit
following public consultation from 6th September to 18th October
2024.
Reasons for Decision:
On 16th April 2024, approval was given by the Environment,
Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee to proceed with a
public consultation on the draft Conservation Area Appraisal and
Management Plan for Richmond Road East Twickenham (Tranche 6). It
was also agreed at Committee that a delegated officer decision
could be made to approve the final version of the Conservation Area
Appraisal, provided that no substantive changes were required
following the public consultation. The public consultation took
place between 6th September to 18th October 2023. A
