Purpose

To seek resource for the next phase of the
project to deliver a positive, inclusive and accessible future for
Richmond Town Centre in line with the Council’s place-making
ambition.

RESOLVED:
 
The Committee resolved to:
 
a) 
Agree the Richmond Town Centre Vision.
 
b) 
Note the content and progress of the Vision for Richmond Town
Centre as agreed as part of phase 2A.
 
c) 
Note that future requests for capital investment in accordance with
the work programme will be reported to the Finance, Policy and
Resources Committee for consideration as set out in Phase 2B.
 
d) 
Delegate authority to the Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services and Interim Director of Place to continue to
lead project governance arrangements to steer and manage the
consultants appointed to deliver Phase 2B.
 
e) 
Note that an animation and activation plan will be further
developed and subject to funding requests for 2025/26 monies.
