Purpose

Report detailing proposed changes to the
Councils internal contract standing orders to reflect forthcoming
changes as a result of the new Procurement Act 2023, and changes
proposed by the internal Governance Workstream.

RESOLVED:
 
The Committee resolved to:
 
a) 
Note the list, set out in paragraph 4 and Appendix A, of contracts
due for renewal between June 2026 and June 2027.
 
b)  
Approve the proposed changes to Key Decisions in terms of
Procurement with the introduction of a sensitivity analysis to
determine which Procurement exercise require formal Committee
approval within paragraphs 5 to Appendix B.
 
c)  
Approve changes to the Council Procurement Regulations thresholds
for seeking quotes and tenders within paragraph 6 and Appendix
C.
 
d)  
Approve a number of general updates to the Council Procurement
Regulations within paragraphs 7 and Appendix D. Page 183 Agenda
Item 10
 
e)  
Note general updates within paragraphs 8 to 12, and Appendix E.
