Regular update on Cost of Living Crisis

RESOLVED:
 
The Committee resolved to:
 
a) 
Note the continued response of the Council to help residents and
businesses through the ongoing cost of living crisis, including
support over winter 2023/24;
 
b)  
Note the allocations of £3.49m from the Council’s
Emergency Funding Reserve, to fund the initiatives summarised in
Appendix 1;
 
c)  
Note the spend to 30 September 2024 for Tranche 5 of the Household
Support Fund, as outlined at paragraphs 25-30;
 
d)  
Agree the proposals for Household Support Fund Tranches 6 and 7 and
continuation of support until the 31 March 2026 in line with recent
Government announcements, as outlined in paragraphs 32-45;
 
e)  
Agree proposals for the future of the Cost of
Living Programme as outlined in paragraphs 46-49.
