Purpose

This report sets out the proposed Dedicated
Schools Grant budget for 2025/26.

Content

RESOLVED that that the Committee
RECOMMENDED to Full Council:
 
a) the Schools Budget for 2025-26 be approved
in line with Appendix 1 of this report; 
 
b) the proposals outlined for the Schools
Block (ref. paras 6.5-6.11) and the Schools Funding Formula
outlined in Appendix 2 and the Schools Allocations in Appendix 3 be
approved, including a Minimum Funding Guarantee of 0% per
pupil; 
 
c) the proposals outlined for the Central
School Services Block be approved including the transfer of
£265k to the High Needs Block (ref. paras
6.12-6.13); 
 
d) the proposals outlined for the Early Years
Block be approved including the transfer of £264k to the High
Needs Block (ref. paras. 6.14 - 6.20); and e) the proposals
outlined for the High Needs Block be approved (ref paras. 6.21 -
6.23).
