Purpose

To seek approval, to introduce new lengths of
double yellow line/At Any Time waiting restrictions areas of and
footway parking, on an emergency basis, to provide emergency
vehicle access at all times in Plevna Road, Hampton.

Content

The SSA Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services approves:

i) The introduction of At Any Time (Double yellow line) waiting
restrictions and areas of footway parking under Section 14.1(b) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to provide emergency vehicle
access on the grounds of personal safety of residents and their
visitors as listed in paragraph 3.4; and

ii) A statutory public consultation is undertaken under Section 6
of Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 before consideration is given
to making restrictions permanent (or amended), within 18 months of
the original emergency restrictions being introduced.
