Purpose
In conjunction with the install of two zebra
crossings on London Road, it is proposed to implement double yellow
line restrictions at the junctions of: Ivybridge Close, Cole Road,
Hill View Road and Fulwood Gardens. These restrictions are intended
to keep the junctions and remaining traffic island by Ivybridge
Close clear of parked vehicles outside of CPZ hours, ensuring
access and visibility for all road users is maintained at all times
in vicinity of the new crossing facilities.

The Executive Director of Environment
and Community Services:
i) notes the representations received and the corresponding
officer’s response outlined in APPENDIX B of the report
ii) Agrees to make a Traffic Management Order under Section 6 of
the Road Traffic and Regulations Act 1984 for the double yellow
line waiting restrictions as advertised and detailed on the drawing
in APPENDIX A of the report.
