RESOLVED that the Transport & Air
Quality Committee.
i.
Adjust the draft Plan to include a new pilot programme on
non-exhaust vehicle emissions, investigate options to reduce
impacts on nurseries including planning controls. Emphasise the
council’s continued opposition to Heathrow Airport Expansion,
further target engine idling, and minor changes to improve
readability.
ii.
A summary of responses to be shared with Transport Strategy,
Highways Engineering, Richmond Visions and other teams to assist
planning. The final plan should be scheduled to apply to
2025-2030.
