RESOLVED:
 
The Committee resolved to:
 
a) 
Approve the permanent continuation of the CCTV pilot
project approved in September 2023, which utilises additional
staffing resources working in conjunction with the Metropolitan
Police to enhance active monitoring of the CCTV network.
 
b) 
Note that this pilot works across both Richmond and
Wandsworth councils as partners within the Joint Control Room based
at Wandsworth, with 25% of the cost being charged to
Richmond.
 
c) 
Note that the continuation will be met from existing
budget resources approved as part of the Committee’s budget
allocations in February 2025, as part of the Council Tax setting
process.
