Purpose

This report provides an update on the
Council’s support for residents during the cost of living
crisis.

RESOLVED:
 
The Committee resolved to:
 
a) Note the continued response of the Council
to help residents and businesses through the ongoing cost of living
crisis;
 
b) Note the allocations of £3.9m from
the Council’s Emergency Funding Reserve;
 
c) Note the spend for Tranche 6 of the
Household Support Fund, as outlined in section 7;
 
d) Agree the updated proposals for Household
Support Fund Tranche 7, as outlined in section 8;
 
e) Agree proposals for the future of the
Cost of Living Programme as outlined in
section 9;
