Purpose

To report the results of a public consultation
regarding a proposal to improve road safety on St James’s
Avenue outside the frontage of Hampton hill Junior
School.

Content

The Executive Director of Growth and
Place:

i) Notes the outcome of the public consultation detailed in Section
7 of the report.
ii) Agrees to proceed with the scheme with amendments made as
detailed in Section 7.4 of the report and as shown on the drawing
in APPENDIX D of the report.
iii) Under The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 agrees to the
advertisement of a section 6 Traffic Management Order for various
lengths of double yellow lines, a school time disabled bay and
amendments to existing school keep clear markings.
iv) Agrees to a review of the restrictions at the junction of
Windmill Road/Wolsey Road with any amendments advertised under the
above Section 6 order.
v) Agrees to advertise under 90C of the Highways Act 1980 the
proposal to install a raised table as part of the proposal.
