In advance of the meeting Councillor Wren put
forward some amendments to the minutes of the meeting held on 29
February 2024 as follows:

Page 7, 6th paragraph:
“Councillor Wren then requested a review of the cost of
each type of provision, because she had heard estimated
figures that suggest the proposed school will actually worsen
pressure on the DSG rather than relieve it.”

Page 9, 6th paragraph:
“Councillor Wren expressed concern about the unrepresentative
nature of the community safety survey, by age and ethnicity, as
this survey appears to have significantly influenced the content of
the Strategy.  Because of this, and her concern about a
lack of SMART targets against which progress would be
evaluated, she felt unable to support the
Strategy.  She also requested
that the graphs used in the Strategy should have their labelling
errors corrected.”

Page 9, 7th paragraph has a
typographical error: “The Wandsworth scheme will be evaluated
prior to a role out in Richmond.”  This should be
amended to “roll out.”

Page 12, 1st paragraph to
be amended as follows: “The Committee were concerned
residents may not act on the information provided by the Department
for Work and Pensions, Councillor Wren
suggestedthe Council consider door knocking residents
who are not signing up for Universal Credit.”

These amendments were accepted by the
Committee.

Councillor Giesler, in connection with minute
83, page 6, noted that the minutes stated that Roger Hackett was a
representative of the Teddington Residents’ Association, this
should be amended to Residents and Neighbours of Elleray Hall.

This amendment was accepted by the
Committee.

RESOLVED

Committee then agreed the minutes of the
meeting held on 29 February 2024 as amended.
