To report on the results of the public
consultation on the proposed traffic measures for North and South
Worple Way, and make recommendatio0ns for next steps.

RESOLVED that the Transport & Air
Quality Committee
 
 
i. 
Notes the results of the public consultation in the NWW area.
 
ii. 
Authorises officers to introduce NO MOTOR VEHICLE restrictions
OPERATING 7am – 7pm Monday to Sunday (except permit holders)
for westbound traffic on NWW, close to its junction with Avondale
Road; and
 
iii. 
Introduce restrictions on an experimental basis under Section 9 of
the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984. Based on the
outcomes/feedback from residents, authorises officers (in
discussion with ward councillors) to amend/introduce additional
measures as/when may be required.
