Purpose

To review the schools budget report for
2023-24

Content

RESOLVED that the following be
RECOMMENDED to Full Council:
 
a) 
the Schools Budget for 2024-25 be approved in line with Appendix 1
of the report;
b) 
the proposals outlined for the Schools Block (ref. paras 6.5-6.10)
and the Schools Funding Formula outlined in Appendix 2 and the
Schools Allocations in Appendix 3 be approved, including a Minimum
Funding Guarantee of +0.5% per pupil;
c) 
the proposals outlined for the Central School Services Block be
approved, including the transfer of £286k to the High Needs
Block (ref. paras 6.11-6.12);
d) 
the proposals outlined for the Early Years Block be approved,
including the transfer of £248k to the High Needs Block (ref.
paras. 6.13 - 6.19); and
e) 
the proposals outlined for the High Needs Block be approved (ref
paras. 6.20 - 6.22).
