Purpose
This report summarises key updates from the
Richmond Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA), including the
Strawberry Vale Sustainable Drainage Scheme and the Community
Bluescapes Project. It also covers the status of the Local Flood
Risk Management Strategy after public consultation, and the
upcoming implementation of Schedule 3
Content
RESOLVED that the committee,
1.
Approve the updated Local Flood Risk Management Strategy
following public consultation.
2.
Support the implementation of the Strawberry Vale drainage
scheme to improve flood resilience.
3.
Support the development of the Sustainable Drainage Systems
proposed in the Strawberry Hill CDA if shown to have sufficient
flood alleviation benefits.
4.
Note the progress on Marlow Crescent scheme.
5.
Support the Community BlueScapes ongoing works delivery
