Purpose

To agree on the budget for the Town Twinning
Reaffirmation Weekend in June 2025.

Content

The Committee resolved:
 
a) 
To agree the reaffirmation plans and associated
activities and note the projected outcomes and benefits of the
reaffirmation for the borough
b) 
To approve an additional budget of
£75,000 in 2024/25 only towards the associated costs of
hosting the reaffirmation with Richmond’s Twinned
Towns.
c) 
To delegate authority to the Assistant
Chief Executive to make all necessary arrangements in consultation
with the nominated lead member.
