Purpose

Approval is sought to approve the award of a
contract for the provision of Council tax digital process
automation services.
This will automate processes which were previously carried out
manually by Officers, therefore freeing up staff. These staff will
then be re-deployed to carry out additional recovery of council tax
debt arrears, which combined with postage savings will realise
significant gains over and above the cost of the
contract.

The Director of Finance approves -
• The award of a council tax digital process automation
contract to `Granicus Ltd` via a direct call-off, as sole supplier,
from the G-Cloud 13 framework Lot 2 Cloud Software
• The contract will be for an initial call-off term of 3 years
commencing 2 January 2024, with the option to extend for up to a
further 12 months.
