Purpose

To report to Committee the results of a
statutory consultation regarding a proposal to lower the speed
limit from 30mph to 20mph on the A310 corridor (between Twickenham
to Hampton Wick) and on the A305 Staines Road (between Fifth Cross
Road and Sixth Cross Road)

Content

RESOLVED that the Transport and Air
Quality Committee:
 
 
i. 
Consider the results of the 20mph consultation for both the A305
and A310 as detailed in Section 7 of the report.
 
ii. 
Agrees to the making of a Traffic Management Order under Section 84
of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 for the introduction of a
20mph speed limit  on the A305 Staines
Road and A310 Kingston Road, exact lengths as detailed  in the drawings in Appendices A and B of this
report
