Purpose
The committee are asked to consider proposals
for the procurement of integrated sexual health services
commissioned in partnership with Wandsworth and Merton
Councils.
Content
RESOLVED: That the Committee:
a)
APPROVED the London borough of Richmond Upon Thames’
participation in the joint procurement of a new contract for the
provision of Integrated Sexual Health (ISH) services across the
London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond Upon Thames, and Merton.
The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years commencing on
01 October 2024 until 30 September 2027, with the option for
extension by two further periods of two years each. The estimated
total contract value across the three participating authorities is
£23,450,000 with an estimated annual value of
£3,350,000. Richmond Council’s proportion of the total
contract value with be £750,400 with an annual value of
£107,200; and
b)
NOTED that the London Borough of Wandsworth is the nominated
lead commissioner and will also undertake the procurement process
on behalf of itself and the other named participating Councils. The
management of the contract, once procured, will also sit with
Wandsworth.
